Sleeping Beauty Turquoise detachable/ interchangeable Gemstone Bar(approx 2 inches) on a dainty Sterling Silver adjustable / interchangeable bracelet.(4 inches) .

This bracelet has been customised by adding Sterling Silver bolt clasp so that the various bars (approx 2 inches) can be interchanged and make a different bracelet!

The Bar consists of 4mm and 2mm Sterling Silver beads and Sleeping Beauty Turquoise made with Sterling Silver 26 guage wire.

The length of the entire bracelet is approximately 20cm.

Sleeping Beauty Turquoise comes from the Sleeping Beauty Mine near Globe, Arizona.

Since the early 1970s, this mine was a major producer of turquoise. Sleeping Beauty Turquoise is famous for its lack of matrix and reliable even color.

However, turquoise mining operations ceased in 2012. This mine is still active and currently produces copper. There are currently no plans to mine new turquoise.

For centuries turquoise has been a stone that represents health, luck, and protection from evil.

Turquoise is one of three modern December birthstones.
